Opportunities
At GEMS we recruit highly talented staff and are delighted that you trust us with guiding and supporting your professional development and career growth. This microsite is a virtual celebration of success and ambition, illustrating how an educators' career can progress with GEMS. Through this platform, we will be highlighting numerous success stories across the network. We will hear from all levels of teaching staff as they share their individual career stories, and the support and experiences they have gained along the way.
What is the Pathway to Progression?
The Pathway to Progression identifies opportunities for teaching staff to advance through middle and senior leadership levels, with options of becoming subject matter experts, educational specialists, supporting other schools, transferring to SSC operations or working with TELLAL.
Why it matters
Pathway to Progression aims to encourage all staff to understand how they can build a strong future at GEMS, from any starting point. GEMS enables staff to progress at their own pace, with their own individual and unique goals and ambitions at the forefront of their pathway. By achieving key milestones and evidencing impact at each level of leadership your career can be varied, dynamic and fulfilling. By learning about the different experiences and individual career paths of your fellow GEMS colleagues we hope that you'll be inspired to maximize the opportunities and benefits available to you. Keep coming back here as more stories, experiences and resources are shared. We are extremely proud of the many success stories of career progression across the network of schools and services and look forward to telling your story too.
